MSI Wind NetTop D130


MSI recently announced the world’s first dual core mini system called Wind NetTop D130. The high-performance and energy saving system is an extension to the original Wind NetTop which actually became quite popular. The Wind NetTop has wide applications among many small and multi functional computer products.

Incorporated with the new Intel Atom 330 dual-core processor and 2GB DDR2 memory, the Wind NetTop D130 boasts of a very trendy design. Adorning a typical Nordic style fabrication, the system’s body is made of deep matte black metal. The black metal also appears on the reflective button of the system. Maintaining its individuality among the crowd of systems, the D130 is a stylish system.
The Wind Net Top D130 allows for easy handling and supports both high-definition video of HD class home theater and other high-load applications. Keeping in line with the Wind series, the D130 sports an ultra energy-saving power design. The feature allows the system to save nearly 90% electricity as in full speed operation, the D130 uses only 35W. Besides consuming less power, the device also allows for quiet operation. Eliminating noisy operation of the fan, the processor and chipset sport the passive cooling technology generating just about 30dB of operating noise.

Additional features of the Wind NetTop D130 include an integrated Super-Multi DVD burner, support for an array of video and music file formats, 7.1-channel surround sound output support and built-in high-watt speakers that have a heavy bass and clear treble.

While there is no information yet on the exact availability, the MSI Wind NetTop D130 is expected to come with a price tag ranging between $225 and $240.
